Automatic Off-Hook Emergency Calling

Automatic Off-Hook Emergency Calling lets your phone automatically call a designated emergency number after going off-hook.

The destination emergency number will ring after a predetermined delay interval (set by your system administrator).

You can make calls to any other phone number before the delay interval expires - by lifting the handset, pressing a Line Appearance or pressing the Speaker key.

  • The emergency number will not be dialed if you use on-hook dialing.
  • You can answer incoming calls as needed – see Answering Calls for your phone in Using Mitel Phones.
